Riletto dopo molti anni, il Maestro e Margherita ha compiuto di nuovo la sua magia. Gli avvenimenti misteriosi scatenati in una Mosca surreale dalla comparsa di uno strano artista "straniero" sono l'occasione per una feroce critica politica e sociale, all'Unione Sovietica del tempo, ma, anche e soprattutto, alla credulità della gente, al suo volere tutto senza fare troppa fatica (soldi, abiti, fama) e alla scarsa spiritualità della società. Alla fine tutto sembra tornare entro i binari della "vita civile", i disastri, e persino i morti, vengono giustificati, nascosti, scambiati per qualcosa d'altro, ma le due anime pure, quelle che hanno dato tutto per l'arte e per l'amore, il Maestro e Margherita appunto, sono il prezzo da pagare per il ritorno alla normalità.

This is an interesting one. The characters are fun to read and once the story really picks up their personalities are wild in the best ways. Some of the flow did throw me off while reading it though, and the names being similar in many instances with a number of nicknames didn't help. Still, a lot of fun and something that I think would do great as a short TV series.
