Great end to a true epic fantasy!
LAST BOOK. All my opinions. While reading. This is just for me to read back later on.
I love Pevara and Androl. These are two I remember without realizing I remembered them. I wish they had their own series. I feel like what's happening to the Black Tower is justified. Rand completely ignored this area. And he definitely ignores all the red flags.
I will admit that the convergence in this book is one of the best.
I am not feeling a connection between rand and his chicks. MAYBE Min (still hate her) but that's because she's been glued to him entire series.
Lots of fighting. It's great.
Why is Elayne leader of armies when you got someone like Mat? He's MIA but Nobody thought to mention him?
LOVED MAT AND RAND MEETING AGAIN
The four generals being used unknowingly is amazing. Such a good, but sad plot line.
Between Tuon and Egwene...I'll pick Tuon. I dislike Egwene that much.
60% in. I feel like this book is unnecessarily long but good. Just could be finished with less pages.
Feel like there's a lot of plot holes. It's all good though
The gateway as a map is awesome.
Gawyn is crap. An idiot.
Poor Rhuarc
I have no words for rest of book. So intense. I cried for Egwene even though I hated her so much. Wow. Acting like its my first read instead of third.
Not the biggest fan of the ending. Felt like it was a slap in the face to others who did so much and cared so much for Rand. Now I remember why I hated Rand.

I listened the whole series as audiobooks so it was literally hundreds of hours spent in elaborately described fantasy. Due to the format I cannot spell or even recognise a single noun invented for the world, an there are huge amount of them, especially names of characters, regions and tribes. The late author used a lot of words for everything, quite a lot of repetition and re-re-explanation of some habits and consepts. There was still a sense of constant development, of both the protagonists and the usage of the one power and the overall quality of storytelling which kept me going. .. and after reading half of the books one just had to find out how the last battle would turn out in the end! ;)
This last book and the whole series was enjoyable experience, especially as audiobooks. I think I would have been disheartened many times before the moon-reaching pile of huge tomes.

Whoo hoo! I finished it!
I have to say the last four books of this series were stellar. Absolutely mesmerizing.
This series definitely has its ups and downs and frankly can be quite a chore at times.
Was it worth it?
Yes.
It was during the last one I truly felt I had experienced something special.
If you have patience and lots of it, it is well worth the journey. :)

What an amazing end to this incredible journey. I believe Robert Jordan would be proud to see his story concluded in this manner, hopefully faithful to his notes but also not rushed. For a series known for not rushing anything, I'm happy that this pivotal event comprised the vast majority of this novel.
Einde. Het zit er op. Wat een epos. Had wel 4 boeken korter mogen duren maar toch blij dat ik het uit gelezen heb

14 books - 11,696 pages - 630 days (over a span of 5 years) [that too struck in that 2311 pages slog for 209 days 😫]
It was a wonderful journey alongside Jordan/Sanderson in this Wheel of Time.
The final book did justice for the grand scale of a monstrous series laid by the previous books.
909 pages book where almost 99% is war and killings. Especially the Last Battle chapter. This is my first time reading a 190 pages chapter. That looong chapter made me feel the gravity of the situation and what's on stake. Sanderson did a great job making us feel the pressure of the battle in that chapter.
All the protagonist's journey came to fruition in the end. Egwene's sacrifice made her the best Amyrlin ever. Though Perrin and Nyna were under-used in The Last Battle, Egwene, Elayne, Rand, Lan, Mat, Logain and (surprisingly Androl) has shone the brightest.
I am so happy that The Last Battle has exceeded my expectations. That too climax that can come above end-game!!!
All the scenes with Lan were pure bliss!!! We knew from the book one that Lan would become a King again and would fly the Golden Crane. But his lone ride towards Demandred army and the way he kills the Forsaken is pure lit 🔥.
I now believe why fans talk too much about Jordan's foreshadowing. The things he played out by Min's viewing and Elaida's foretelling were glimpse of the disaster waiting. Hard to believe my boys (Rand, Mat and Lan) walked away alive from this. I thought I would be disappointed when Rand survived the Tarmon Gaidon. But a life only handful knows about where he doesn't even look like himself, trying to live a normal life above all - I think Rand deserve this after all the things he went through.
Five years back, little did I know that I would be completing this series. Now I feel complete. I even made sure, I am finishing the series from the same place where I started it.
But we all knew...The wheel weaves as the wheel wills....
This is not the ending.
