I once had this same monster. I feel like this was written for my siblings and me and I hope that one day my brother will be able to read it himself.
No matter at what stage in life you are this is one book that without ever saying the word gently guides you to acceptance and healing. Not much say about it, the words make you feel everything and does it in the best way. Just as it says in the book I bawled my eyes out but acceptance came when I closed the last page. I write this minutes after I finished reading and honestly not many books make me cry but this is one towards end I couldn't but help the tears from falling.

Absolutely floored me. Forced me to face the loss of one of my own parental units. This book brought me in so deep I flung it across the room in sadness as it brought me to an emotional level I try to keep buried. Would I read again? Probably not. Would I recommend? Absolutely.
