I cannot praise this book enough. I absolutely love the movie but I love the book even more. The book is great especially for details that weren't really explained in the movie that kind of just left you to your imagination. This is fine but Cormac McCarthy does a great job of presenting characters that are morally gray. It is such a great book I encourage everyone to read this book.

A tense, thoughtful and fascinating western noir. The Coens Brothers created an incredibly direct adaptation in 2007, including somehow finding the perfect Anton Chigurh. If you know the film, this book will feel incredibly familiar, but not necessarily in a bad way.

I liked hearing Bell’s internal monologue throughout the story, but I still wish we would’ve had more clarity on Moss’ death. He was a main protagonist and the vagueness on being gunned down in a motel is mildly annoying. Otherwise, great story.
