i like this book, esp the banter and dialogue,m but i was hoping it would be funnier. one major issue i had was when Miles forgot to call Daphne cus he was helping Petra move. given everything we know abt his character, this felt unbelievable. it was a huge character flaw for Miles to risk Daphne’s trust just to help Petra, who had ruined both of their lives. even though he’s a nice guy but didn’t he want to be with Daphne? it’s frustrating that he didn’t have more of a backbone. 

and the third-act breakup really hurt my perception of both characters. 

but overall, the book was okay but i feel like Daphne seemed to learn the wrong lessons by the end.
