I don't know how Bella does it, but she manages to make each couple so unique! Each book is better than the one before! Sparks were flying off the pages from page 1! Kenzie finding her confidence and asking Nixon for lessons was

NIXON SINCLAIR!!! I loved this book! I really enjoyed seeing how everyone knew Nixon had a crush on her for so long. I loved seeing Kenzie’s relationships with her brother, Juliette, and Becket.

Wow, this book was such a quick, easy, and lighthearted read—I flew through it in just a few hours! It’s funny, sweet, spicy, and totally charming, with some emotional moments that hit hard. Bella’s new series kicks off with a bang, and I’m already excited for the next books!

NIXON SINCLAIR - no other words needed...

I loved this so much. Lighthearted and still emotional, relatable and down-to-earth but still glamorous, swoony and steamy and with a lot of family meddling thrown in, as well as my favorite girl squad and shit-stirring brothers!

Genre: Contemporary romance.
Tropes: Best friends' brother/sister's best friend, fake dating, NHL player x doctor, friends to lovers, spicy lessons.
Trigger warnings: No.

ARC review:
I had such a good time reading this one. It was quick and fast-paced, with relatively low angst, but still hit me right in the feels.

Kenzie Hayes was so relatable, and I just wanted to reach out and hug her so hard (also shake her a bit and say 'LOOOK!', as she was a bit oblivious…). Her lack of confidence and very driven and work-oriented nature had been a bit of a hindrance for her, and I loved how she slowly opened up to more, and allowed herself to flourish and explore her wants and needs - which Nixon definitely could read and deliver on…

Nixon Sinclair totally had me falling head over heels in love! He was all in from the get-go, while also being hesitant to be all in - a bit of a conundrum, but he was really his father's son so rest assured, nothing and no one could stand in his way of making Kenzie his woman and him being her man!

There were perfect for each other; they both had some internal struggles, and had goals for themselves, while also wanting more with the right person. They gave each other the place and time to both succeed professionally and with each other, and their communication was great. It was clear they had a deep connection already, and the 'spicy lessons' only enhanced this, and made them into something so much more.

Also, the spice was definitely spicing, and the dirty talk was on point. All the family/friends was a great addition, and I just love the girl squad - supportive, teasing, meddling and just so loving! The banter and shenanigans, as well as the text messages were perfect as well.
It was a very steamy and romantic story, with humor and heart, and it also had me tearing up at all the pure, sweet and profound moments - everything about this was just *chef's kiss*!

Way too many characters from previous books. I might stay from the beginning of the authors catalog.

Part of a larger world that has a lot of characters

I have been not so patiently waiting for this to drop and I dove right in the second my ARC hit my inbox. Tempting is a second generation story that can be read as a standalone but it’s so fun reading through the backlog for the story and vibes! Kenzie and Nixon were perfect for each other. Both focused heavily on their careers leaving them a bit closed off in the beginning. A few spicy lessons later and we get to see them open up! I seriously love the town and the people Bella has brought to life in these books! And the text threads will forever be my favorite part of any book but especially this world! Now back to the very beginning again for a reread as I wait for the next to drop!
