Nix & Kenzie are so adorable!!!

First off, seeing how Declan & Annabelle are as parents is SO CUTE!!! I finished their original story a couple of days ago. I am loving this.

Nix was a good dude!! I loved that he got his HEA with his childhood crush!! Hello, that's amazing 🩷 The way that his instincts are to care for her, protect her, and love her was beautiful šŸ˜

Kenzie is such a strong woman. I love how driven & tenacious she is. The way she doesn't cater to those around her. She does what needs to be done unapologetically.

I absolutely cracked up when Nix entered his parents' house, referencing Murphy's incident between his mom & step dad. That flashback was so funny.

The lessons are HOT.
The possessiveness is HOT.
The Dr. Dick situation was horrible!!!

Read Bella's Books.
You don't HAVE to start at the beginning, but I'd recommend it. Lol

Thanks VPR for the ARC

I don’t hate anything Bella writes, but Nixon and Kenzie just weren’t  it for me.  Still a good story, just not my fav.

I'm in awe of Bella Mattews!
I've never read a single book by her that I didn't absolutely devour and Tempting is no different. I'll eat up the best friend's sibling and fake dating tropes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I loved Nix and Kenzie right from the very beginning. The way Nix jumped in to help Kenzie when he noticed she was uncomfortable without needing to be asked was cute as he||. And that ice cream scene?! If you like spicy books, you need to read this book if not for that scene alone because WOW. The text threads throughout this book made everything so much more fun. It almost feels like your in on the conversation, it was so great.

Book Contains:

- Teach me
- Neighbors to lovers
- Childhood friends to lovers

This book was amazing. I could not put it down. The way he has loved her and shows her it is okay to open yourself up to love made my heart happy.

I love this world Bella Matthews has created. Declan Sinclair will always be my favorite MMC that she’s written so it’s no surprise I would love his son Nixon. This book was everything I was expecting and so much more. It had me laughing, crying and swooning.

Nixon and Kenzie made a great couple. They were both battling some inner demons and I loved how they worked those out. Nixon had always felt like he was in the shadow of his father’s greatness. He admired how his dad could have the career in the NFL he did and still remain devoted to his family. And Kenzie was still dealing with some trauma from losing her mother as a child. For two people who were so career focused, it was fun to watch that change.

I loved how Kenzie and Nixon supported each other. They had known each other since Kenzie moved in with Juliette and Beckett when they were 13 and Nixon had been crushing on her ever since. Nixon recognized how much work Kenzie had put into her career and never asked her to change that. I loved the way they made space in their lives for each other and it didn’t feel like they had to sacrifice anything.

This was such a fun book. I’ve really liked all the second generation books and although I’m eager for the next, I’m also a little scared of what kind of secrets Callan has been keeping.
