Micro-story anthology
I had never heard of a micro-story before reading this anthology. I read Jeremy Ray’s short story, The House Plant and was very intrigued by it. So, when I was given the chance to read this collection of Tiny Tales, I jumped at the chance.
In 100 words or less, Jeremy tells a complete story about a wide variety of topics including love of a step-parent, an elderly woman serial killer, and an Instagram influencer. While each story is completely unique, I felt a connection to each character. I’m not sure how the author was able to make that happen in so short a time.

I admire Jeremy Ray's ability to convey so much with so little words. Each story has it's own message and hits you in the feels.
His stories always manage to leave you wanting more but also close off the story perfectly.
My favouritea were The Bookmark and The Head Witch of Witch Manor, but I enjoyed them all.
I can't wait for more micro stories from Jeremy Ray.

Week 6 Book 9
Little book of tiny tales by Jeremy Ray
Rating: 3/5
This is a collection of 50 nano stories. A quick easy read, the stories are diverse in their setting, but all have some thrilling twists or turns. The interesting part is how the author has added a note before each story to give background about the thought behind it.. some are born out of dreams or nightmares, some due to some experience, and some are just plain random thoughts. Decent read.

56 micro tales less than hundred words ! Now that sounds cool isn’t it ! That is exactly why I was curios to read Little book of tiny tales - Anthology flash fiction ! I have read a previous work by this author , a short story called House plant !! I loved the book with all my heart. It made me smile and cry at the same time I remember rating it 5⭐️’s
The author did not disappoint me a bit ! I loved most of the stories I cannot even pick one favourite. They were short yet powerful spooky smart and well structured and subtle it leaved you craving for more ! Above all I love how the author gave a tiny bit of info before each story on how / what inspired the next tale / flash story , sometimes nightmares , sometimes from works by others etc
Highly recommend ! Do check it out guys !

I admire authors who can convey a lot with very few words. These are micro stories, less than 50 words each. But they were all satisfying. For each story he gives tidbits on the background and the inspiration, which are equally interesting.
A promising author - adding to my TBR.

"How short can a story be and still leave an impact? You’re about to find out."
I love this little tagline from the description. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. I devoured Jeremy Ray's novella Petrified Women earlier this year so I couldn't wait to start this one.
Little Book of Tiny Tales is described as a "flash fiction anthology" which consists of 56 "micro-stories" each told in less than 100 words, from every genre you can think of. It won't take you long to get through this collection, but you'll still take a lot from it. I was a little taken aback by how much emotion these tiny tales evoked from me. Not every story was perfect for me but I could appreciate each one and the skill it takes to tell a story with so few words. I can't wait for volume two because I need more.
Some of my favorites were Cleaning Duties, Once in a Lifetime, Not a Witch, Heads or Tales, and A Lonely Haunting. I would love to know which are your favorites!
