I got scared when sooo much of this was about to take place on a ship, but somehow I did not dislike it. The characters were vibrant as always, which served as an ample distraction.

Me at the end of the book like wtf is going on... how complicated can this series possibly get...

I liked this more than I thought! The style felt different to me, and there was something I can't quite describe that I didn't love about the main character whos name I can't remember. But I liked learned about her, her training, negotiation tactics, and leadership. The hordlings, and the Dawnshard reveal was mind blowing.

Lopen was annoying (his audio book voice is annoying, so he's annoying) but I'm glad he was able to progress in his oaths.

Overall it was fun and I liked it.
