An 80s teen book about a girl who sees her own face on a milk carton 12 years later for 25 cents at the library book sale?! I can't pass that up.

Read it in a day while laying in bed with my sick daughter on a Sunday. Quality 80s teen literature. Some chaste romance, definitely mystery, plus a kidnapping element (very 80s). All in all, a solid read and good throwback to the pre-Google days.

Looking forward to reading the sequel.

This book is great if you're 13 years old, but I'm 27 so I found it childish and petty. I enjoyed the suspense, and the characters, but not that it was left as a cliff hanger!

I remembered really liking this one when I was younger so I wanted to give it another read. I also remember enjoying the TV movie they had made with Kellie Martin. This definitely reads like a middle school book even though the MC is in high school, but I enjoyed it. This book also ends on a bit of a cliff hanger, so you will probably want to read the next in the series.
