If you're looking for a YA that reads like middle-grade, high schoolers that act like immature middle schoolers, and a book that wanted to be a series so bad it decided to not have a full story arc then you've found the one.

I first heard of this book earlier this year. It was recommended to me by one of the teens in my book club, so I decided to read it. As I was reading it I realized that the main character would have been older than me (it was originally written in 1990 about a 15 or 16 year old girl). The book made me remember how it felt to be a teen more than any other teen book I have read, and it made me feel a real connection to the teens of today. I would recommend it, but know that the ending is very anticlimatic (I believe there is a sequel).
I can't believe I never rated this book! I read this in middle school and loved it!!!
Janie has incredible parents and great friends. What more could she want in life? She sees her face, only younger, staring back at her from the back of a milk carton one day at lunch. This makes no sense to her. How can she be kidnapped? She tries to reason this out in her head and relying on Reeve. What really happened to her?
Reread from my childhood. It wasn't as great as I remember but it wasn't terrible either. Overall a solid 4 stars. Review to come.
