3.5/5 — killing the mothers murder accomplice plot should have been better smh. But other than that this was actually so cute… when he brought her British candy?? pls… I am so excited to read about Gabe & Rafe and Tor (Tor better get a book)
So many parts of this book that bother me. Thought about DNF several times but the intrigue of the story line kept me.
This was just…fine? Standard mafia book and I was hooked in for most of the part so I did like bits and pieces of it. The slowburn and tension was definitely there. The hotline concept was actually pretty interesting. But the plot did drag on at some points and I had to pause the book for a while to get back into it again. It was very much NicoElena lite™️ without some of the personality, if I’m being honest (the Made series is far superior). The three stars were mostly for Rafe, Gabe, and Tor though😮💨
