So many parts of this book that bother me. Thought about DNF several times but the intrigue of the story line kept me.
This was just…fine? Standard mafia book and I was hooked in for most of the part so I did like bits and pieces of it. The slowburn and tension was definitely there. The hotline concept was actually pretty interesting. But the plot did drag on at some points and I had to pause the book for a while to get back into it again. It was very much NicoElena lite™️ without some of the personality, if I’m being honest (the Made series is far superior). The three stars were mostly for Rafe, Gabe, and Tor though😮💨
This man gave me the ick like five times and yet i couldn't stop reading. But it somehow didn't go anywhere. It felt like the story was building towards something and then nothing happened. I don't know i guess the female main character annoyed me because she was so fine with being passive about her own fate.

What a book! I feel like I am really late to the party and everyone and their mothers already read this book and the whole series but if you, like me, are always late - please do yourself a favor and read it NOW !!
I adored the tropes in this one and how the author decided to tell us the story. Rory is AMAZING and so peculiar and unique - her way to curse is so funny and her whole personality is *chef kiss*.
Usually, and especially in mafia romances, I always feel like the FMCs are not the main focus of the book but let me tell you . I would fight EVERYONE to protect Rory. I love every little thing about her and her character development.
Angelo is the usual mafia guy but he brings some new things to the tablet that I really loved. His relationship with his brothers, his obsession over Rory and the iconic scene at the dinner table? Better than what I imagined!!
I am completely obsessed over this series and I can’t wait to read the next ones. I AM COMING FOR YOU RAFE!

The bird puns weren’t funny but I just ignored it. It’s a pretty basic mafia book but that’s all I was looking for. The female main character really wasn’t the brightest despite her protests. The Main character had a few moments where there’s just no way a vicious mafia don would act that way but it is fiction.

I didn't dislike this book, but I didn't love it either. The concept is awesome. An anonymous service to confess sins. And the FMC is always calling this line to confess her "sins." I just wish there was more. I didn't CARE about these main characters, but I really wanted too. I also don't get why the brothers get duets and this one doesn't.
