i did like this book, it was sweet and I loved the relationship the characters had with their children. they both were healing from a mutual trauma which was pleasant to see

but ….. i feel like the pacing was too fast. we could’ve been eased in to a lot of the content at a time, and i think that this could’ve been such a strong read if a lot of the events were spaced out. delving deep into the characters past would’ve been nice to see too. also, sometimes i was so confused as to what the heck was going on idk. the writer is great at language but sometimes it really confused me.

nonetheless, quite sweet!

Mine For Yours is an incredibly swoony romance with heartbreaking moments and so much heart!

Rhodes and Rylee have a bit of a rocky start. They're both grieving the death of Trevor, her brother and his best friend, so they butt heads and rile each other up. Once they talk it out and start a truce, things heat up quickly! We find out Rhodes is a romantic when it comes to Rylee. He's the perfect mix of alpha and sweetheart. And the way he loves his daughter is priceless. Rylee is sweet and sassy and isn't afraid to speak up. Her interactions with her son are the best.

I love how Gage and Payton, the kids, are cute little matchmakers! They add comedic relief among the pain of grief. The steam in this book is on point! Get ready to melt! Watching Rhodes and Rylee fall for one another was simply amazing. Their path to their HEA is beautiful! I love that they communicate together well and can both be vulnerable with each other. Their little family of four could not be more perfect!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This newest story from Ms. Rae is going to give you all the feels! You are going to get laughs, tears, swoons, and sighs.

This is the story of Rhodes and Rylee.

They are brought together by tragedy, and then the sparks fly.

Rylee is struggling to come to terms with the loss in her life and the upheaval of moving back home and away from the toxicity of her past. I admired her independence and her love for Gage.

Rhodes too is struggling with loss; he wants to keep the legacy going but doesn't know how to navigate that. His love for Payton is what dreams are made of.

I loved the inclusiveness of the love that Rhodes and Rylee have. I fell hard for the romantic gestures of Rhodes, and oh, how I was clutching my proverbial pearls during the smexy times between them!

This is the story of family, both blood and by your choosing, and the strong bonds they can create.

Well Harloe Rae hit me hard with the feels right out of the gate with this one. The raw emotions that both Rylee and Rhodes share is intense and my heart just aches. Both a single parent, you get such a wild ride. Between how they are brought together, the kids that add a level of complexity and hilarity to the story and everything in between, this is one of my favorite reads by Rae and I could not get enough. Another great read by this author and I highly recommend it!

(Dual POVs)

With most single parent romances I’ve read, it’s typically one character that is a single parent, but this one is unique in the sense that both main characters are single parents. Both of their children are the same age and they definitely added some entertainment and sweet moments to this book!

Rylee and Rhodes don’t exactly get off on the right foot, but they‘re forced to be somewhat amicable when neither is willing to give up their stakes in the bar. The bar ends up being their saving grace, providing them both comfort over their lost loved one, and creating a bond between them with their grief. Rhodes is the one who ends up falling first, and once he's accepted it, he's full steam ahead with his plans for them and their future.

I found humor in the fact that Rhodes gives Rylee a nickname from the very beginning when he compares her to a firefly, but Rylee struggled to find a nickname for him. Her nicknames for him changed from chapter to chapter and it was amusing to see all the new ones she’d try out.

Overall, this one snuck its way into my heart, provided me with some laughs, and I really enjoyed it. I was expecting a little bit more of a punch with the conflict, but I’m not going to be mad that it went a little easy on us. I am gonna end this review with a warning, as I feel this book needs to come with one- you may never look at a whiskey bottle the same
