3.5⭐️/5. Overall I genuinely enjoyed this book, though I felt the connection between the two main characters a bit rushed. They obviously bond over having children the same age, but even then it felt a bit forced. I also felt like the timeline could’ve been a little longer but overall, had all my fav tropes including enemies to lovers, single parent & a dual pov. Not my favorite, but def one of the better ones I’ve read lately. Solid 3
This was a rather chill read, it was simple and straightforward but what i didn't like was the inner monologue.
The girl's just standing there and there's a whole page describing what she looked like, I was annoyed. I liked the relationship each of the main characters had with their kids, it was really cute and I wanted more scenes with the kids in it, that just tells me that their romance was too bland that I would rather read about the kids. BUT honestly, there's no tension between the leads and that frustrated me. Also, how the main character started liking the girl is a mystery to me. One second he was like, I hate her but I'm gonna tolerate her cause she's my best friends sister, and the very next page he was like I love her with all my life, I would die for her, LITERALLY, not kidding. This part just messed with my brain and its all i could think all while reading the book.
So, honestly, if you're someone who wants to read it, might as well skip it. BUT if you have extra time on your hands and are someone who likes to frustrate themselves, go for it.

When you’re ready, we’ll exchange broken hearts and mend them together.
I really liked Rylee & Rhodes's love story (though this is the second book of Harloe Rae's where the main characters have alliteration with their names - and I'm sorry but it makes it super confusing!). Both single parents, these two have an attraction that can't be denied. While they are brought together through tragedy - I really liked how they bonded and became friends as well as lovers. Plus tier two kiddos were super cute - loved them too!

Amazing all the way around!
The sass, the comedy, & Mr. grumpy sunshine. It was such a a great read & didn’t want to put it down. The story of 2 single parents come together over devastation but with a lovely HEA x2.
