Erm.. so this was amazing -Definetly the best book in the series! I went into Broken Vows with low expectations because I didn’t think I was a fan of Riona but I loved her, definetly one of my new favourite FMC’s. I really enjoy Sophie’s writing style and the bodyguard yet also cowboy vibes? Stunning. Also, Riona and Raylan’s dynamic was so fun to read. I always come back to Sophie’s books for a palette cleanser, I know I’ll enjoy the read and I won’t have to think too hard, win, win 🤠
Only disappointment was the illustrated version hasn’t been released yet so no pictures 🥲

ummm.........I don't even know what to say. First and foremost I want to apologize to Ms. Sophie Lark, because if i'm being honest, I was not really looking forward to reading this book in the series. I felt the least connected to Riona in the other books, and didn't really think that this book would have much depth, just from what I read about her character. But WOW was I wrong. I take back what I said about Savage Lover being my favorite book of the series so far, because Broken Vow TOPS IT. Raylan had me BLUSHING throughout this whole book with every interaction he and Riona had together. I never would have thought that I would like a "reverse" grumpy x sunshine, but I absolutely loved it. Sophie Larks writing literally gets better with each book, and now that i'm onto the last of the series i'm wondering how she'll top this one because damn.

Riona & Raylan were explosive together! I genuinely have enjoyed some books in the series and I've found that the writing and plot get better in every new book. Riona as a character was very strong and I really admired her. Raylan was smart, charming and witty and I loved them both as main characters! I just loved the tension and chemistry between them. I'm always up for a good bodyguard romance and this one did not disappoint!

5 stars!
This was amazing! I was hooked by the plot from the start and I really enjoyed reading Riona and Raylan's povs!
From the assassin plot, to the forced proximity and new scenery, it still gave me Mafia vibes but to me, this was refreshing and unique! And I loved the interactions between Raylan's family and some of their history
