The Outlander series is my comfort series — love the show and I’m loving the books!

This was the slowest of the series so far. Also, I have a hard time liking Brianna.

I can’t believe I finished this. I consider it an accomplishment. I liked the previous books a lot but this was a slog. I tried and failed 2 other times but was bested by the pace and the slow, winding plot. This time I prevailed!

Still loving this series!

This one didn't have too much action/things happening in it :/

I'm still trying to read this book.. have been for the last 6 months. Please tell me it get's better! I did like the part with the young domestic abuse victim and her soon to be deceased husband but that's about the only part I could get into so far.

My least favorite of the series. The first half dragged on and on and on.

With 600 pages left to read I decided to skim read. A sin I know but this installment in the series was just so boring to me. Nothing happened majority of the book. It's just day to day life which is fine but not for an entire Outlander book. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen and it rarely did. Oh well. Hopefully A Breath of Snow and Ashes is better.
