LB nailed it again with this one!! It was perfect with Asher and Maeve! It's the best friend trope we've needed. These two have had a couple of great interactions in the earlier books of this series. I loved the 1st two and this one was just as fabulous.

There are so many great things going on it's hard to narrow it down, but they work together wonderfully. The character banter is on point, the humor is LOL worthy, and there is great spice. I love the fact that LB worked in a mental health issue and handled it perfectly. And of course, a cute doggo!

So I was excited for this book as a hockey romance but friends to lovers generally isn’t my favorite. I feel like this one dragged on and I’m just like “If you’re such good friends, just be honest already!!!” (In fact it took me 1/5-1/13 to listen because it was long and not safe for little ears) I didn’t realize that it was part of a series and it doesn’t really matter other than I loved all the supporting characters in addition to MMC and MFC.
