You know what they say about Vegas right? Too bad that Maeve and Asher’s wedding cannot stay a Vegas secret. The media have already run wild with the photos. They decide to stay married to help with their individual images until they can seperate further down the road with limited blowback from the media.

Listen I am a sucker for a fake romance on any level - fake dating, fake engagement, marriage of convienience. Sign me up every single time. I love when the characters struggle to determine where the faking stopped and things became real! Lauren Blakely has become an auto-buy author for me, if she writes it then I need to read it. I have the best time with her stories and I just love her characters so much. I find that her books have the best balance between plot and romance! I absolutely love the chemistry between Asher and Maeve - the way that they take care of each other just melts your heart. And Asher is the defintion of a top book boyfriend! Everyone deserves to find an Asher. My only complaints were that I felt the miscommunication dragged for too long and the book in general was too long. I’m a firm believer that a romance book does not need to be over 400 pages unless it is for plot or development purposes.

Very cute! Sweet and saucy. I love the main conflict isn’t a break up, and is handled perfectly. They talk together then plan separately and come back together her. Love love.

To say I’ve been invested in Lauren Blakely’s Love and Hockey series would be an understatement. This has been a fantastic series and it just keeps getting better with her latest, The Proposal Play. 5 ⭐️’s all the way!
