It was bad and mid, it was also too long and I also didn't care for the characters live story anymore

I'm absolutely loving this series. I thought at this point there was bound to be a 3 star and the characters would weaken but no! Strong, distinctive characters for all main and peripheral characters. My only gripe is that this couple don't communicate as well as the last two, but I suppose that is part of their journey.

Definitely moving onto the 4th book, and have preordered the 5th.
There is also a spin off that's sitting outside the hockey series for one of the friend group meeting a football guy at Christmas, but I've added that to December's to read list.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this book! I read it and also listened to the audiobook. Both were amazing. Asher and Maeve are pure delight and the friends to lovers trope is one of my favorites. Asher falls hard and it’s the little things he does just because he’s him that make you swoon over him. He’s attentive and kind and observant, everything you want in a best friend and a soulmate. Maeve is sunshine and energy and thoughtfulness and I love the way she doesn’t give up on Asher when things get tough. These two are definitely meant to be! If I could give this a million stars I would. It definitely rates up there in the top 10 favorites of Lauren Blakely’s books.

My very first book by this author and I absolutely devoured it. I’m going to read the rest of the series, I laughed and I enjoy every single word from the narrators. They were amazing. I got so entranced in their story, it was phenomenal! He is her brother’s best friend and her best friend as well. They have been best friends for years. Asher is a fixer, he has to fix every problem for the people he loves. He strives on controlling everything around him, including making sure his best friend is happy, always. She saves him from a conning influencer that wanted to use him and wins a date with him to Vegas instead. While in Vegas, they honor their marriage pact done 2 years prior, and they get married. They decided this will be their new adventure, and the perfect prank for her brother. They didn’t expect this to go viral, and now they have to face the consequences of their marriage of convenience, which they can’t end without hurting their careers. It’s absolutely mesmerizing. Loved the audiobook and can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Thank you Lauren and Hambright PT for allowing me to read it prior to release date. It was phenomenal.

My favourite in this series so far. Asher and Maeve’s story is so loveable as they are such great characters. Love the mental health representation and the best friends to marriage to lovers trope.
