I always enjoy the talks of Richard Feynman since I watched a PBS special about him as a child/young teen. When I got older I read a couple of his memoir type books, [b:Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!: Adventures of a Curious Character|5544|Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! Adventures of a Curious Character|Richard Feynman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348445281s/5544.jpg|321174], and [b:What Do You Care What Other People Think? Further Adventures of a Curious Character|587614|What Do You Care What Other People Think? For me this was only possible through his books. This is a little more of that though the subject matter seemed much more political/religious centered and some of it very dated with Russia being front and center. Some of the politics and thoughts on politics still are very valid today. The parts on religion, I thought Dawkins does much better. Still I enjoy getting a little more of Feynman.
I did have little issues as in the editing and presentation. I suspect it is word for word, and with out the inflections and none of the verbal signals/communication, I think a lot was lost. There were many points that I thought were where he was being humorous, yet the reader, without knowing him or his work, wouldn't get that. This is even more so with the audio version where the actual reader is monotone compared to what I imagine how Feynman would have presented this. I would not get this as an introduction to Feynman. If you already enjoy his work, this might interested you.

A great physicist, talking about stuff non-physics related. The content is not bad but not really insightful.

A very quick read and as it is transcribed from a series of lectures you can hear Feynman speaking as you read along. In classic 1960s New York style, there are a few rushed thoughts and some sentences which don't quite get finished on the page, but it never affects the quality of the message.
An interesting and thoughtful effort by Feynman, which was a pleasure to read.
