Edit. After listening Lolita Podcast by the amazing and brilliant Jamie Loftus, I see this book a lot differently. So, I'll definitely read this again at some point.

Honestly, I'm not even sure how I managed to finish this. The writing is good, but the tangents that go on and on and on drove me insane. It wasn't as beautiful as I've seen people say, but it wasn't bad. Lolita just left me annoyed that I spent so much time reading it, and eventually not getting anything out of it.
