Overall thoughts:
I am working on reading more poetry. There were a few poems that touched me, but overall the book was ok. It wasn’t horrible but It wasn’t amazing either.

This poetry collection is just not my vibe unfortunately. I think I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with poetry collections that follow the same ‘fall in love, breakup, find love again’ kind of vibes. I just don’t think it’s the poetry collection for me.

It wasn't as good as I was hoping. I think I just am not a huge fan of this style of poetry anymore. I found it vague and had an over use of simple metaphors. It wasn't bad, just too surface level for me to really connect with it.

It’s not bad, it’s helped me see more parts of myself and find some ways to help get closure for things that were beyond my control. In no way is it a self help book, however it’s shown me parts of myself that I either haven’t seen in a while or met quite yet.
