I liked the book, and I thought the writing was very illustrative and described settings, scenes and feelings really well. This book's focus is on the love Ash and Poppy share, which I adored, but also felt was almost too much of the focus, which is why it's getting three stars from me.

When Ash dies, she does miss her family, but I was hoping we'd get to see the grief and loss Ash would feel for her family, and vice versa. Afterall, the grief of a family is incredible, and I felt it would have been nice to see how her family was coping since they played such a big part in the book when Ash was alive. But it was pretty much exclusively focused on Poppy and Ash's relationship after Ash died, and although I'm happy to read about that, I wanted a bit more closure on the family/friends Ash had.
Other than that it was a great book, that warmed your heart, made you laugh, yearn for love, and also pulled at your heartstrings.

The plot was weird and didn’t make a mot of sense but the romance was good and I enjoyed it quite a lot.

Even though I knew the entire time, from the summary, what was going to happen, it still ripped my heart out. I was in denial after a bit that it would happen, I was in love with Ash and Poppy's whole story and was so captivated the entire way through.
