At first, I thought this young adult book was really really young. The main characters voice was almost too adolescent to read. But then, in Kelley Armstrong fashion, the book flew by and the mystery pulled me in! Something about her writing style just makes her books so easily consumable. The mystery was good & the premise inventive!

This was an interesting story of a group of young adults that have a lot of strange things happen to them. They are missing time, their parents seem to talk a lot about things that don`t make sense and some of them seem to be going crazy and doing crazy things. All of their parents work for a research group that seems to protect its self and are always on the scene very quickly when something happens. Past secrets are coming to light and someone wants them all out in the open. They are in more danger than they realize and knowing who to trust is a guessing game, if they trust the wrong person it may just cost them everything, even their sanity. Its thrilling, dangerous. psychologically trippy and compelling. All of the teenagers are intriguing and their quest to find the truth kept me reading and reading! A great read all around.

Kelley Armstrong is an author from my childhood. So I was so excited to read this book.
Blythe goes to school for her parents company. When her friends start disappearing or acting strangely. They must dig up the past.
This book was good. It is a great Ya Thriller if you are just getting into thrillers. I was really into the story the whole im entire time since it starts quick paced right from the beginning.
You get twist and turns through out the whole story and makes you wonder if you’re remembering your memories correctly.

I thought, possibly due to the cover, that this was going to be a standard murder mystery novel, although I was interested to see what the legend Kelley Armstrong would do with the genre. This is actually a little closer to a sci-fi thriller, as Blythe and her friends try and unravel what the organisation CMT has done to them.
Overall this is good, and I liked that it was somewhat of a multi-POV, occasionally giving us insight into what the other characters are thinking and feeling. I did think this could be a little messy at times though, and I was confused when Blythe's sister seemed to disappear from the story at the half way point, only being referenced by the other characters, almost as if she was an actor that had left the show.
The ending was a little too stereotypical after the big reveals for me, I'm not the biggest fan of single culprit reveal endings, where we have to sit through the explanations of why they did what they did while everyone kinda yells at each other. I did like the story overall though, as the rest seemed quite unique.
