I didn't really know anything about this book - I picked it up because I like reading Armstrong. I didn't realize it was YA until a couple chapters in but that didn't affect my enjoyment of the novel.

The premise is interesting, and while more a mystery than a thriller, the mystery was good with lots of bread crumbs dropped along the way. I figured out the big picture of the mystery early in the story and then it became a who-dunnit. The main characters of Blythe, Tucker and Tanya are well developed and likeable people. Do they always behave as believable teens? Not so much, but again, didn't affect my enjoyment of the story.

A quick read, kept me engaged the whole story, a good summer weekend read.

Was super excited to read this novel. Something about the title just gripped me and my mind started going crazy with the possibilities of directions for the storyline. (Can you tell I didn't bother to read the description :P).

This story was slow going for me, but when it got interesting oh my I could not stop listening. Listened to the audio version with Erica Anderson narrating through my local library. Not entirely sure how I felt about the voices used throughout the audiobook, but it was nicely paced and easy to listen to.

Highly recommended for those who enjoy young adult novels or novel series such as Maze Runner or Divergent series (big vibes of these two by the end).

Wow, those are some messed up kids and parents! There were many red herrings in this book, each time I thought I had it all figured out Kelley would throw another wrench into the works. I love Tanya, she embraces her dark side by the end of this book and doesn't take crap from anyone. Another great read from Kelley Armstrong, highly recommend!
