Get Out of your Head was a great book for anyone who overthinks. The author gives strategies and biblical references to help you change your thinking patterns snd “get out of your head.” I did enjoy the first half of the book more than the second half, but overall I give 4 stars.

A great read. Very clear to understand and gave a great sense of what God is trying to say in my thoughts and how to guide myself that way. Solid biblical evidence to support!

The book started out good and helpful but then I found it super hard to finish. I felt  the author touched on a bunch of different themes that I didn’t feel really went with the main point of the book. I would have not finished it if it weren’t for getting to my reading goal tbh

I read 95% of this at the beginning of Covid (March-May) and it was very applicable during a tumultuous and unpredictable year. Realized I had just one more chapter to wrap up at the very end of December so I finished on NYE.

This book was good. Wasn’t fantastic and didn’t leave me feeling incredibly inspired. I do love how Allen focuses on Jesus instead of ourselves versus a lot of other Christian authors out there. I have found that the main point of the book, “I have a choice,” has stuck with me though. For that I am grateful.

This is an amazing book. I once suffered from the plague of negative thinking; but the scripture in 2 Corinthians 10:5 and Jennie’s Mind Map Method have truly helped me focus on Christ more. I’m practicing her method for the many battles I face in life. And so happy that the word of God brings so much clarity and peace in the mind for the soul. There are so many Bible scholars who encourage others to challenge all evil thoughts and feelings with the Word. I’m grateful that I now have a very practical method in which to do so. Amen.
