It isn't as amazing as the original Pout-Pout, but it's still a great rhyming tale about being afraid of the dark. Love me some pout-pout!
Love these books! As always it is a rhyming tale about a fish with an ever present pout. My class of 2-year-olds loved it too.
Pout-Pout fish must overcome his fear of the dark to fulfill his promise to help Mr. Clam find his lost pearl! Great pictures and a story that kids would love to hear over and over again!
Hard to read (rhyming words/alliteration) overcoming fear of the dark and helping friends
Mr. Fish is back again in this new adventure where he is on the search for Ms. Clam's missing pearl. The only problem is, it fell way down into the deep dark trenches of the ocean. Will Mr. Fish be brave enough to retrieve the pearl for his friend? He can't do it alone! With the help of his good friend, Ms. Shimmer, he learns that two is better than one. Once again, Diesen provides some cute catchy chants that will have all kids singing.
A good scared of the dark book in classic pout pout fish style. Really like the message and the way it was communicated but felt the last line didn't quite fit the overall rhythm.
Artwork was really great in this one with tons of cool fish things to see.

Darling! Beautiful illustrations and I love the message of conquering your fears with friends. Truly a gem and a great book to read to young elementary aged kids, especially those that might be afraid of the dark.
lighthearted
The Pout-Pout Fish books are cute, and the illustrations are adorable.
