Oh. My. Gosh. THIS BOOK. Top 5 shelf for sure! I Loved the protagonist, I Loved the story telling, I Loved the mix plots, I Loved the transformation and growth of the characters. I loved everything. I just added all other Joshilyn Jackson books to my to-read list.
I extremely dislike this book.
Someone else called this "the opposite of a good book," and I'm like PREACH.

This author has never disappointed me. She always brings strong female characters.

It will be a lie. I will never give her away, not to anyone. She will always have the center of my heart.
**This is exactly how I felt when asked if I would be walking my daughters down the aisle along with my husband.**

When it comes to chick lit, not many do it better than Jackson. But there are certain voices she uses to narrate that I don’t love. So this one might be a better read as opposed to listening to the audio.
A favorite "chicklit" author
I love this author's odd, messy, strong women. Always broken, always looking in the wrong places. Their paths to healing make very readable tales.

3.5 stars. I liked the overall story of this one, but I did struggle a bit with the mother's storytelling elements and the added stories within the main story.
Deeply satisfying, perfectly imperfect
I enjoyed every word of this book that managed to weave believable, flawed characters into a flawless story. My favorite in a while.

I liked this book. Not all of it, but most of it. I didn't really enjoy the flash backs to the main character's childhood. But I guess they were needed for the story. I really enjoyed the humor in the story. And the relationships. They felt like real characters. Like real people I could believe existed. I especially loved the ending and how it ties everything back to the very beginning. It was a nice story.
