This psychological thriller keeps you on edge the whole way through! Loads of chances to hypothesise and not too easy to see where it’s heading. Fascinating to see how the abduction affects the sisters in different ways and great portrayal of OCD. Not too keen on the husband’s plot (no spoilers) so I’ve dropped a star.

I am sure I say it every time I review one of Louise’s books that she just gets better and better, and with every new book she releases, I have a new favourite. The Stolen Sisters is no exception to this, and in my opinion is Louise’s best book yet.

Told in turns by sisters Carly and Leah, the story of the Sinclair sisters slowly unfolds with Carly’s chapters recounting the events surrounding their abduction, and Leah picking the story up in the present day, when fresh fears surround them. At just 13 at the time of their abduction, you can feel the terror in Carly’s chapters, and how responsible she feels for keeping 8 year old twins, Leah and Marie safe. Their experiences are almost unimaginable and yet Louise captures them in such a way that you feel you are right there with them. As we catch up with the now grown up sisters in Leah’s chapters, the long-term damage of their ordeal becomes apparent as they each battle their own demons and struggle with their own secrets.

As harrowing as the details of the abduction are, it is the aftermath and the fact that their experiences have driven the sisters apart rather then pulling them closer together that is truly devastating. They all just seem so broken and alone.

As the story unfolds and the extent of the betrayals suffered by each of the sisters is revealed, my heart just broke for them time and time again.

Always the master of a great thriller, Louise introduces a depth of emotion to this book that makes it so much more than just a psychological thriller.

This my first book by Louise Jensen, read via The pigeonhole.
This flits between the present day & twenty years ago.
The Sinclair sisters (Then thirteen year old Carly and Eight year old twins, Leah & Marie) were kidnapped and held at a disused army base. We then rejoin them in the run up to the twenty year anniversary. They are are struggling in their individual ways with their ordeal and hidden secrets.
This was a very well written psychological thriller that was clearly deeply researched, especially in regards of one of Leah's psychological conditions.
There were lots of twists and red herrings to keep my interest.
Highly recommend and will be reading Louise's other books.
Thank you Louise & pigeonhole for the opportunity to read it ahead of release.

Firstly I would like to thank the author, the publisher and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. It drew me in from the first page and I was not prepared for the amount of twists and turns the story took. I will be recommending this book to all my friends.

Oh wow, what a book! This is my fourth read by this author and I have loved every single one. In this one we have three sisters who were kidnapped twenty years ago and all three blame themselves for what happened. Carly was thirteen at the time and twins Leah and Marie were only eight. Each deals with the aftermath in their own way but all three are suffering. The story is told in now and then chapters from the sisters point of view and we also have Leah's husband, George, chime in with his own chapters.

There were so many surprises in this book and none of them did I see coming. I liked how the author dealt with the mental health issues with sensitivity, and there was a new one I enjoyed learning about. The plot sucked me right in and wouldn't let me go, I just had to find out what was going on...not only with the sisters but with George as well. I literally couldn't put this book down and read it in a day. I am shocked at how surprised I was with all the twists, and believe me there are plenty. I highly recommend this read and all others by this author.

With many thanks to NetGalley, Louise Jensen and Harper 360 for the giving of the ARC.

Wow! Louise’s books never fail to disappoint. What a read! I was hooked from the beginning & the whole story was engaging throughout. The way the settings were described made it feel so real. I don’t want to give too much away so I won’t say much more but if you love an intense, thrilling, easy read then this book is for you. It’s absolutely insane and it’s one you definitely need to read! Thank you to @hqstories for letting me take part on this blog tour I absolutely loved it!

Louise Jensen can NEVER let me down!
This book kept me hooked, her writing is masterful and will keep you guessing (as your theories will never be right). The twists and turns in this book is so clever and so twisted I devoured this book. I also love how in every book I learn a new illness and she educates the reader in a way they don't even know they are being educated.
Definitely my go to author for crime/mystery/thriller book. Absolutely amazing. So gripping, so chilling, will definitely stay with me for a long time (I don't know if thats a good or bad thing).

Today is my tour stop thank you hq and this one I was very excited about. I have loved Louise Jensens other books and had high hopes for this one too. It was really fast paced, talking about the Sinclair Sisters and how they were abducted 20 years ago. How each of them have been left damaged and understandably traumatised. It was a really good read, a few moments I felt were slight unrealistic but thrillers can be like that. It didn’t put me off at all and to anyone that loves a thriller I would highly recommend.
