I don’t think I’ve ever not loved a novel written by these two women. But this one; it made me laugh, cry, happy…the full works.

I’ve been scrolling past this novel in the bookstore for months and the title kept throwing me off. Today though, I took the plunge and I am so glad I did. This is probably one of my favorite novels I’ve read from Vi and Penelope and I’ve read quite a ton at this point.

This one had a lot going on, but my gosh, was it amazing.

I loved that it was told mostly from Dexter’s POV (I find that I love male POV’s more than I do the female POV in novels) and how incredibly funny his inner monologue is was.

Those two plot twists? I saw them coming, but regardless I still cried like a baby while they were trying to navigate it. Dexter’s love for Bianca…be still my heart. I absolutely adore these two.

Vi and Penelope truly never disappoint.

What a fun read! I enjoyed this book so much! I loved the lie and the whole scenario but also happy it didn’t drag on too long and the characters had a chance to work through it. The family stuff at the end seemed a bit random at first read, but it did work for the story. I read this in one day across multiple sittings, but continued to ignore my own stuff in favour of going back to it.

Captivating from the first page to the last. I
Iaughed out loud a lot, even in public, that's rare for me...
Great story, perfectly written by two great authors. Looking forward reading the next book of Vi and Penelope! Thanks for such an entertaining read!

A truly LOL read with a hot sizzling chemistry between the leading characters right off the bat, but with that nice slow burn that I absolutely love reading in a contemporary romance.
Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are a writing duo that know how to write a funny, romantic read that also takes your heart on a journey.

Dextur Truitt aka Jay Reed aka Mister Moneybags owns his own successful business, lives in a studio apartment overlooking Central Park, has a personal driver, as a matter of fact he doesn't even know what sort of hobby someone does when they aren't born wealthy.
Fencing? No.
Yachting? No.
Whittling?....Sounds legit. (whittling, what? I was dying.)
These are the types of problems Dex faces as he meets Bianca George for the first time and how Jay Reed was born. (Seriously couldn't stop laughing through the first several chapters the writing is amazing.)

When Bianca meets Jay as she's trapped in an elevator on her way to interview the elusive "Mister Moneybags" or Dexter Truitt, her panic level rises the longer she's trapped. The humor between Bianca and Jay is nothing less than brilliant as the two cope and eventually make it out of the metal death trap. Biana screams, plays with her balls, and explains why she feels Dexter Truitt is an entitled snob.
Oh yeah, her first impression went over great!

So great in fact.... she missed her interview with Dexter Truitt, since he continued his charade as Jay Reed and decided to spend the afternoon with her. (keep up-Jay is Dex and Dex is Jay and they are all Mister Mo.....oh don't worry about it....Dex even talks to a dog about how he hates Jay and it's funny as he**)

The damage is already done as Dex has already introduced himself as "Jay" and his web of lies continue to build, as do his feelings for the gorgeous woman, while he continues to humiliate himself.
Bianca also finds herself in a pickle as she finds herself falling for multiple men. Should she continue seeing Jay the messenger man from the elevator, or the mysterious Mister Moneybags she only knows from an online interview, but she seems to open up to more than anyone ever before, but she hasn't even seen his face yet?

Such problems....but nothing compared to a man who has a vendetta against a child whittler on YouTube.

I seriously cannot remember laughing so much chapter after chapter after chapter after.....Dexter is probably my favorite character for trying incredibly so hard to win a girl. I should probably point out, this is one hot, sexy, rich man too. Loved, loved, loved Mister Moneybags.

Talk about problems...

Twists in books are expected. The one in this book was definitely an unusual but very entertaining one. The trials, tribulations, and anxiety were perfect for keeping you on your toes.

As usual, the authors kept me highly engaged and needy until the end. Be prepared for a wild ride.

Absolutely lovely

So sweet, interesting and great to read. Love every character and their rolls. Every struggle was even more difficult until they reach to the end. Something unexpected happened and I loved it!
