I enjoyed this one a lot, it was a little slow in the beginning/middle but it definitely picked up in the second half of the book (and that ending battle was *chefs kiss*. I wish we’d get more information about that epilogue because wow that was an interesting way to end a book.

I really liked this whole series, but this was by far the best book in the series. I loved the reoccurring themes of morality, villains, heroes, justice, the grey areas in between, how everything is not so black and white, and all the other topics it touched on. Nova was my favourite character and I loved her so much, she was such a strong character and the romance between her and Adrian was well done. I thought the concept, plot, and world building were also great, and there were so many unexpected moments and twists, especially the ending. (I had a prediction for the ending, which kind of ended up happening but it wasnt final and the complete opposite then ended up happening)  The first two books I really liked, but this book I loved. This series was so fun to read and it was such a unique concept for books, since for movies superhero movies are really common, but in books there aren't half as many.

Loved it. It is so cool! Great way to end the trilogy.
Edit: It’s been months since I finished this and man I didn’t do justice to this review. I still remember the characters and main plot points because I developed such deep connection to this series. The romance and the characters were such beautifully written. I liked everything except the ending I just felt like instead of
everyone getting their powers back and Max being powerless. The author should have made everyone not have any powers to showcase that people can be their own hero without any special abilities.
. I thought it would have ended the story perfectly with setting the power imbalance less noticeable. I felt like that would be the perfect end to the trilogy, since it would fix corrupt and imperfect details in society. But then again I am not the author and I respect Marissa Meyer’s choice, and honestly think that the book turned out regardless of the society coming back to normal. I ship the main characters so much. And the plot twist at the end was so impactful, I honestly would give this book 6/5 just for that plot twist alone. The book was very addicting and filled with so many action scenes, I could never put it down. Honestly, one of my favorite books. and the world building is other-worldly. I would recommend and 107%.

This was a really good ending to the Renegades series! I don’t think it was quite as good as the other two books but it still was wonderful. The three little twists at the end were interesting but did not leave me in complete shock like some of the other twists.
I also found it interesting how Meyer used the same twist for ace and magpie, the actually-not-dead twist. I also wondered if the three twists (evie being magpie, phobia being adrian's creation and ace being evil) were intended from the start of the series. They felt kind of thought of at the last minute but that doesn't diminish their impact! They were great twists! However I didn’t like the ending how everyone got powers, i thought it would be better if no one got their powers back.
. This book was also quite gory with in depth description of mutilation and self mutilation, murder and other dark themes. I really enjoyed this book and read it on a single day, Feb 13th.

WHAT AN ENDING!! This book was the perfect ending to this series, this book satisfied all of my needs. The overall series was alright, for me a little mediocre but still amazing. I love how much we've seen Nova grow throughout the series and her constant internal struggles with where she stands. It was also great to see how far Nova and Adrian came into their relationship, ALSO, thank god Oscar finally kissed Ruby they are amazing. I appreciate how the reader feels a deep connection with every character, from the Puppeteer to Captain Chromium, but still know and be interested in the two main characters story. My one falter of this book were the first 100-150 pages were quite boring and I wished Marissa titled which chapter is in whos perspective. It was quite confusing to differentiate between Nova and Adrian's chapters. Overall, this series was enjoyable and the ending of the last book was truly breathtaking.
