Not as fun and whimsical as the first book, but still a fun and cozy read. I thing the last book will tie the series up nicely if it goes remotely close to how I’m predicting! Sad there will only be 3 books as of now, but expanding books within the same world would be exciting if the author follows through in the future.

I love this story! I love these characters and the whimsical adventures. There is a mild romantic element but it does not monopolize the story which I also appreciate. Can’t wait to continue with the next book!

I enjoyed this book thoroughly, and I fell in love with this story so much to the point where I am sad that book 3 is a couple of months away.

The writing was excellent as always, the story was extremely engaging and not at all repetitive, Wendell and Emily stole a piece of my heart and I just can’t wait to get my hands on the third book.

This one had so much charm

I loved seeing Emily coming into herself and accepting Wendell's love. Their slow-burn relationship is so satisfying to read about.

As always, the world-building through exploration and research that Emily does make this book unique and hard to put down.
