Güzel bi kitaptı ama yani faşist Margaret Tatcher ve feminizmi oy için kullanan Hilary Clinton falan bunlar mı kızlara örnek olacak, ya da Yoko Ono ne alaka mesela onun yerine başka insanlar konulabilirdi böyle tartışmalı isimler vardı, mesela bi tane Çin'den panda kaçırıp hayvanat bahçesine getiren bi kadını koymuşlar seriously??? Kadın diye herkesi övecek değiliz eğer bu kitap özellikle kız çocuklarına yazıldıysa onlar için daha doğru rol modeller seçmelerini beklerdim.

i gave this book to my 12-year-old sister for her birthday this year. she started reading it almost immediately and even called me to her room to tell me about ada lovelace, stating she was "dope". i did not expect how much seeing her take interest in this book would warm my heart.

Libro recomendado para quienes tienen niñ@s en casa, las niñas pueden aprender de role models, y los niños aprender que existen mujeres muy exitosas y sobre todo luchadoras.
El lenguaje es simple, apto para lectura fácil, eso lo hace muy digerible, ameno y entretenido.

This book is so inspiring! I literally read about an incredible woman every night before bed for the last two months and it changed me. You don't realize how few and far between these role models are in your life until you make a point of learning about them. I love this! I now have a list of biographies to read and I plan to read this book over and over. What better way to fall asleep than dreaming of joining the ranks of such wonderful women?
