Fantastisk bok att läsa för alla åldrar! Man blir inspirerad och rörd, överväldigad av alla dessa kvinnors mod och kämpaglöd!
I read this book aloud with my 11-year-old daughter. We both learned about so many amazing women in history, and we were both excited to see some of our own role models on these pages. A phenomenal resource for all females, to remind us that we all can achieve our dreams.

This book was brilliant - inspiring, beautiful and incredibly important.
All of the stories in this book, stories of amazing and fearless women from all over the world throughout history, were impactful and awe-inspiring. How they overcame the challenges placed upon them was such an inspiration and is guaranteed to make any woman feel like they could take on the world.
If there’s anything at all that your struggling with, read this, and it’s like a little motivator saying - these women can do it, and so can you!
It’s great too because the stories are nicely compacted into a page each, so it’s a read that you can just pick up whenever you’re free and not feel bad about having to put it down again pretty soon (well, maybe a little bit).
Aesthetically it’s also very beautiful, with a bold cover and a range of gorgeous illustrations drawn by women from across the globe.
Overall: A brilliant feminist read that I’d recommend that anyone read.

Mahtavaa, innostavaa, voimaannuttavaa. Myhäilen edelleen tyytyväisenä, kun tätä kirjoitan. Kuuntelin Iltasatuja kapinallisille tytöille äänikirjana ikään kuin oikeina iltasatuina. Upposi täysin näin aikuiselle naiselle, mutta näen myös sopivaksi lasten saduiksi. Jos (iso jos) koskaan saan tyttölapsen, tämä tulee olemaan iltasatu nro 1. Tai miksei pojallekin, tai muulle sukupuolelle. Oli jo aikakin, että tytöt saavat aktiivisia ja menestyviä esikuvia. Kihisen raivosta ajatellessani esim. Disneyn passiivisia ja avuttomia prinsessoja, joten tämä teos on enemmän kuin tervetullut. Monesta teoksen naisesta haluaisin lukea lisää, joten täytynee hommata teos omaan hyllyyn fyysisenä kappaleena - äänikirjana monet nimet menivät nopeasti ohi.
Miinuksena äänikirjasta voisin mainita, että Minttu Mustakallio puhuu omaan makuuni hieman liian nopeasti, ikään kuin kiirehtien. Välillä oli vaikeaa saada joistain sanoista selvää. Iltasatumaisuus äänikirjana kannatti kuitenkin, suosittelen!

What a stunning book! Filled with messages of those who have lived fearlessly and pursued their dreams no matter what! This is the message we need to pass on to our children - and not just girls! Beautiful illustrations as well.
