I liked it alright, and I really wanna continue with it, but I have to knock a star off because of the horrific portrayal of women. The main female character is just so... stereotypical? You can tell it’s “old-fashioned” and written by a dude. She doesn’t have any thoughts that aren’t about boys, she talks ill about her looks and as soon as food is mentioned, she’s suddenly on a diet. I hope she’ll get more developed, I thought she was gonna be this fierce ninja warrior, but I haven’t seen her do a single move except shoving a person out of her way to get to this boy she has a crush on. Other than that, enjoyable story!
(Update: I just read the start of the second volume which has like, character blurbs, and hers is all about how she has a crush on someone, or who has a crush on her. Nothing about her goals, her personality or her background.)
