A simple book with beautiful illustrations, that will speak to everyone's heart. It hit my soul while I'm in a current rough patch of life and I will definitely puck up again to visit and walk along with The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse.

I don't know what I expected but this was more of disconnected abstract thoughts accompanied by gorgeous ink illustrations than even a vaguely cohesive narrative which would've packed more of a punch in my opinion.

But I think this would make for a wonderful gift to keep on a coffeetable or to get a child in your family.
