My therapist made me read this book, haha.
Well-crafted book with beautiful illustrations, clearly a passion project with a lot of heart.
It helped me with my own writing.

Adorable book, loved that some of them were drawings in black and white while others were in color.
It’s actually about 50 pages. Lots of blank pages. A pretty expensive and decadent children’s book tbh. But heartwarming and plenty of nice illustrations. Solid 20 minutes of your time, whatever your age.
I have turned to this book many times since receiving it, in times looking for comfort and times when I want something warm and familiar. This re-read I have decided to leave a review. It is currently New Years Eve 2020. A year in which I feel needs this book. I have taken some time out of my day to sit and read this and use it to help me reflect and it is just what I needed. This book sees the light in the darkest situations and brings comfort through its gorgeous drawings. I just truly love this book and feel that everyone should pick it up at least once - in hopes that they pick up even the smallest piece of happiness from it.
simple, but profound. My daughter recommended it to me after reading it with her confirmation class. The concept is a difficult one to pull off. Kudos to the author.
Nice story for children, but really difficult to read due to the legibility of the handwriting.

This is a lovely book - the drawings are beautiful and the conversations of the characters are sweet. There is a sort of otherworldliness to the way the characters are isolated together in a vast empty world. This book doesn’t have to be read all in one go, in fact, I would say it is designed to be dipped into at random. You never know when you might need the advice on each page.
Having said that, I think that the art work here would do well as a series of framed pictures to be enjoyed together, rather than page by page - and I am sure I have seen some of these out and about, so clearly I am not the only one who feels that way.
