I didn't really like this book. I found a lot of the character's annoying except for Lesley. It felt stupid that they were looking for this girl with magical powers and in multiple instances it's clear that Gwen is the girl and then everyone is like "No! Not Gwen she's normal!"
WOW! This book is just amazing. I loved everything about it (except that it was to short:()it was extreamly interesting. It was a definate page turner, and honestly, I didnt expect it to be so good. I reccomend it to everyone!
I am caught in the middle of various opinions about this book. I heard good things and bad things, I attempted to start this with an open mind but was a little bit pessimistic. I really like the concept of this novel and I really do want to like it. I just find it to be lacking, too many of the characters are unpleasant, it is very predictable, we have insta-love (which is always such an issue). I really like Gwen but she is very frustrating, I just can't relate to the characters and I really don't like Gideon all the negative things that are said about him are much more accurate than any of his "redeeming" qualities.
I found this book very addicting. I enjoyed the plot and the fast pace of the story. Because it was a book about time travel, there were some plot holes. However, I was able to overlook them and enjoy the story.

It was kinda rushed and the thing with this book is that it tricks you into believing nothing big is happening and then you see last page and you can only stare.
Quick, light read. I guess I could see where people in other reviews found the main character immature but I found her to be endearing. Will definitely continue the series.
Die Edelstein-Trilogie für Kerstin Gier wird für mich immer eine ganz besondere Buchreihe bleiben. Für mich war diese Reihe eine, die mich zum Lesen gebracht hat und weckt daher sehr schöne Erinnerungen von früher! Wundervoll geschrieben und ein tolles nostalgisches Gefühl beim Lesen und das verlangt einfach nur eine 5-Sterne Bewertung!
