This series is one of my all-time favorites and I've re-read multiple times. The story is fun and light, but leaves many questions unanswered at the end of the book. I recommend having the second book ready to go as you're getting to the end of the book.

dass leslie und gwendolyn schon in buch 1 die korrekte theorie des geheimnisses hinter dem geheimnis aufstellen, hatte ich vergessen lol.

LOVED this book! It had everything that I really enjoy in a good teen read: adventure, historical aspects, a little romance, and a strong, funny female lead.
