I really did try not to immediately read the next book (I want to make people wait a year between Harry Potter novels) but I couldn't stop myself. The whole book is a lead in to the trilogy, not much is revealed about the mystery of the chronograph and Count St. Germain. Gwenyth has just the right amount of sass and curiosity to go along with time travel but doesn't take anything they tell her to heart. She's set on finding out the truth, no matter how things are Supposed to be done.

Was weer fijn ❤️❤️

Read it for the first time around 9 years ago and reading it again now I still absolutely love it. Such an interesting concept and it’s a really easy read.

This book was one of the best books I have read in a while. The plot was very unique and I really love that. The book is like 330 pages and I finished it in like two days.

LOVE IT

Fun YA that my daughters will love. Since all 3 books of the series are published I would suggest having the sequels nearby. Since this book ends abruptly, I want to just jump right into the next one.

Would’ve given higher but the ending let it down.

This book was a very quick read. I feel like I would have enjoyed this a lot more at a younger age. There was a lot of repeating conversations. I understand Charlotte is the "primed" child and Gwen was a nobody per se in her family. How many times did this need to be drilled into my head. Got it the first 3 times.
The book really picked up pace in the last few chapters. I did enjoy this book enough to continue reading the trilogy. Just started the second book...
