I love this book! It is out of my comfort zone to read a sci fi book with aliens, so I’m happy to say I was rewarded by stepping out of my comfort zone.

Not what I would consider one of those young adult novels that 'older' adults can read. It has the quality of a book written by 15 year olds for 15 year olds.

I didn't like the present tense first person writing style.

Also, the constant humble bragging was getting a bit old. (Yeah, we taught humans how to build the pyramids; our planet is more beautiful; famous geniuses from human history are only that special because of our DNA; no big deal!)

I liked it a lot. Great plot and character development. I was a little bummed because of who the author is and the fact that it's part of a series.
