Finally after sooooooo long I finished this. The end was pretty good but the rest was really boring. I do not recommend this book!

this book was so odd to me. i absolutely LOVE the musical (stage and film), so i wanted to read this! i find the story interesting, but the writing style and how the plotting was structured was just so strange to me. it felt like large moments of things i wasn’t super interested in, followed by brief moments of super exciting twists and situations.

probably won’t pick up the other three books, too much else on my TBR for now!
