Basically destroyed my reading challenge trying to slog my way through this garbage; almost in tears every night at the thought of having to pick this back up.
Skim read most of it and lost none of the “plot”.
Completely nonsensical and unnecessarily sexual and political; the latter reminded me of the mind-numbing politics we were subjected to in the Star Wars prequels to the point I actually thought it must be set in Naboo.
The segment at Fiyero’s widows castle was completely pointless, went on far too long and furthered the plot in zero way.
Just terribly written in every way and I beg of you, if you’re a fan of the musical or the film, not to pick this up.

This was some boring shit. I have read many classics that had me more gripped than this.
I didn’t even have high expectations, there was just pretty much nothing interesting happening. But I can appreciate some political intrigue? Maybe?
I was let down many a times, we did not defy gravity, we just ate shit.
