Thank you to Hallmark Publishing and Teri Wilson for my Advanced Readers’ Copy. Even though Christmas had passed and the new year was upon us, I wanted to get my review in so I tackled this book without much of an expectation. Boy was I wrong. It was an adorable, belated and beautifully wrapped Christmas gift.
First off I loved the two main characters and of course despised the villain. The town was absolutely precious and I want to visit the Norman Rockwell scene. It seriously had the best Christmas traditions implanted, magical wishes and of course fairy-tale endings.
I couldn’t have wanted anything more from a holiday treasure. I HIGHLY recommend this one for readers looking to get into the spirit with a great sweet and adorable romance.
I’m hoping because of Hallmark, it’s been made into a movie so I can watch it this next Christmas but first read this delightful holiday book!

My dearest Hallmark, always knowing how to put me into the perfect mood no matter the time of year. This book was so perfect that I didn’t want it to end but knew the entire time that I would love the ending because I always do.
Ashley lives in Manhattan and has been recently planning for her perfect Christmas - a trip to Paris with her boyfriend Jeremy full of romance and love. But Christmas magic has a different plan - spending Christmas back in Owl Lake, her perfect little home town in upstate New York.
On the train ride there she meets a wonderful woman named Betty who gifts her the most beautiful antique charm bracelet while she’s sleeping on the train. But when she wakes up and tries to find Betty to return the beautiful gift, she’s nowhere to be found.
Her next few days in Owl Lake become surreal as she finds she can’t get the bracelet off of her wrist, and all at the same time each charm on the bracelet seems to oddly coincide with things happening in her real life - as if predicting the events of her Christmas. Many of them having to do with her former high school boyfriend Aidan.
Ashley has to fight herself to determine whether to let fate and Christmas magic take charge of this Christmas or to keep trying to find a way to get back to Manhattan to score a new promotion. She realizes that Christmas magic usually teaches someone something about themselves and maybe that’s what she is supposed to be learning… so how will it all play out for her?
I give this book EASILY 5 out of 5 stars!! It was SO GOOD! I read it in just a few quick days and loved every minute of it and was sad when I would have to put it down to sleep. Such a perfect cozy happy story to read at a time like this. The perfect escape!
Have you read it yet? It just came out this past Tuesday - October 6th, and I HIGHLY recommend going out and snatching yourself a copy :)
*I got this book from Hallmark Publishing and from NetGalley to read and provide my honest review*

A sweet magical Christmas romance. I read it in a few hours. Perfect Christmas read.
A mostly sweet and gentle dream with a few negatives,
+Friendship and family
+ mild humor
+magical realism
- Driving on ice
- Angst about the charm bracelet's magic
There are some small Christian bits near the end.
The usual moderate drama towards the end.
A clean and wholesome second chance at romance read with firefighters.

Moderate: Car accident
Minor: Death of parent
Finally, I was able to sit down and read this book. Teri Wilson, always seems to provide an enjoyable read and this was no exception. Quick & easy---this romance with wonderful splashes of humor make it a magical tale.
Ashley is looking forward to Christmas in Paris with her boyfriend; but alas it doesn't go as planned and she finds herself back in her hometown of Owl Lake. Oh & did I mention a mysterious charm ends up on her wrist after falling asleep on the train? There is lots of emotion and detail in this story. Wonderful holiday tale.
I'm with many others who have asked....When is this going to be a Hallmark movie?

Christmas Charms, by Teri Wilson, is available at booksellers on 10-6-2020. Writing for Hallmark Publishing is perfect for Ms Wilson. Sweet stories with great endings are her forte. Charms is a wonderful second chance story. I liked all the characters, even the goofy ex. I became invested in Ashley's journey and was pulled into the image of Owl Lake, a perfectly lovely small town. I truly wish someone would give me a terrific second chance like this one. I can only hope.

An engaging holiday treat set in small town America. The main character's willingness to embrace the magical elements of the book kept me wondering if there was another explanation. Holiday romance lovers will enjoy this return-home-after-a-disaster holiday romance with all the right elements in all the right places. The HEA is satisfying and heart-warming.
Christmas Charms was a true Christmas story through and through. I loved reading about the lovely town of Owl Lake and the sense of community in the town. The winter setting of Owl Lake is something out of my dreams! I fell in love! Reading about this second chance romance and discovering/finding yourself in the process was a delightful read. I received an advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
Who doesn't love a little Christmas magic? Ashley is living the life of her dreams, well at least she thinks she is. She is going on a dream vacation to Paris with her longtime boyfriend, and she thinks he is going to propose. Plans changed and she finds herself on a train back to her hometown. She pours her heart out to a fellow passenger and notices a gorgeous charm bracelet she is wearing. Ashley dozes off and wakes yup in her hometown wearing the charm bracelet with no explanation except to have the Christmas of her dreams.
