Quick and easy read. I was invested in the characters. However, Salem making cupcakes was the most overused piece of the story - I’m hoping it has some important meaning that pops up later in the series, because it was mentioned way too much!
The ending was terrible, and really the only part of this book that I felt much emotion towards.
But I just don’t feel a connection towards these characters. I’ll probably still read the second one just to finish out the series but, not really my favorite.
