Put me in coach! I’m ready for these baseball men!!

Not going to lie, I have been excited for this series since I read Jenni’s Mother Maker, and after reading this one my excitement was justified!

Christian and Avery’s story is fantastic, the way he paid attention to what was important to her and gave her the space she needed was simply perfect.  Now don’t get me wrong, he is far from perfect but those vulnerabilities make him real and even more attractive.

This is a fast paced read that is so much more than a sports romance.  The way Jenni tells a story is addictive to me, and I just want more.  Thankfully I have a few more to read!  Do not miss out on this series, especially if you like men who step up and pay attention.

Lord, pick me up and deposit me in the world of the Langfields and all their cohorts. Jenni Bara killed in with the story of Dragon and Blondie (Chris and Avery). I’m a sucker for a baseball romance, but these two had me wrapped up from the first time their eyes met. Chris waited a YEAR while Avery had her saying sabbatical and I don’t know who was suffering more - him or me. This slow burn was filled with just enough swoony moments to keep me in my toes. I thought the sabbatical was going to end so.many.times.

So many different things to dissect in this story - the germaphobe, the hothead, the bird doc, the emergency, the take me out coach - I feel like I’m in a 1980s John Hughes movie in only the very best way. I can’t decide who is winning me over more, the Bolts or the Revs, but rest assured if it’s a book based in Boston and the Langfields are somehow involved, I am reading it. It blows my mind how Brittanee Nicole and Jenni Bara have woven this world together, but it’s definitely a win-win for me!

4.5⭐️ 2🌶️

I ate this book up! I could not put it down and finished in less than 24 hours.

Pros:
➕ amazing chemistry
➕ cute puffin
➕ good pacing
➕ great meet-cute and amazing boundary
➕mmc who respects her boundaries and makes sure his entire team treats her with respect 👏👏

Took off one half start because the ending got just a littleeee too cheesy, but otherwise I have no complaints!
