Ich habe das Buch weiterempfohlen bekommen und es hat mich wirklich absolut mitgenommen!
Insbesondere der Hauptcharakter war für mich das Highlight des Buches! Während des Lesens macht einen das Buch oft wütend, entsetzt oder frustriert. Die Art und Weise, wie die Hauptfigur aber mit struktureller Benachteiligung umgeht, ist beeindruckend.
Ein paar Dinge habe ich etwas kommen sehen im Plot.
Die Schreibweise ist sehr angenehm!
Insgesamt ein Buch, das im Kopf bleibt!!

It took a a few chapters to really get into this book, but by the end I really loved it. Zotts character at first came off as hard and distant but as the book continued I realized that she must be in the spectrum and that was apart of what made her character so intriguing. I loved that we got to see the perspective of multiple characters including 6:30. My biggest critic is even tho Mad was clearly very gifted, there just no way I could believe her character. In my mind I aged her up to make it more believable. Which is interesting now that I think about it because I had no problem with the dog.

I found myself thinking about how more complex some of the female characters could have been if they were women of color? Food for thought.
