The follow up to the Soulmate Equation, and I think this one was better!! I'd had this saved on my audible wishlist for ages but never bought it (I think, weirdly, the cover put me off??) until recently I just thought I'd go for it. I LOVED it. Fizzy is hilarious, mischievous and filthy and I love the development she received after being the friend in TSE. Connor oooooooh booooy Connor. He's British, automatic plus, he's a divorced Dad with a healthy relationship with his ex (something I think we DO NOT get enough of!) and falls so hard. So hard. I loved him for it. Their chemistry was great, their progression was great, the Jess/River/Juno scenes were a lovely treat. Big fan and excited to reread!

I just can't get over her having feelings and doing physical stuff with Connor yet going on dates with other people, and the fact that he cheated on his ex-wife.

Long review -

The starting is pretty decent. It’s a page turner for sure. And I’m liking the dynamic between Fizzy and Connor. But the main thing that I’m worried about is how the attraction between them is gonna interfere with the show. I’m definitely enjoying this book and the writing. But also, I’m definitely gonna dock down points for the fact that she is pursuing Connor despite being in a dating show and meeting other men. I don’t know why Christina and Lauren decided to throw a curve ball of cheating into this because that made me dock down points. Although I completely understand that maybe Connor is a changed man and I agree that he felt bad about Fizzy fleeing after he opened about something personal to him, I just can’t get over the cheating part.
