A five-star story. Beautiful. Technically, I'm deducting half a star because the writer switched to present tense halfway through the story, and it drove me nuts, but I rounded up instead of down since it's still worthy of being a 5-star instead of a 4-star.

DNF at 20% because I just couldn’t get into the story.

A good, easy read, but nothing groundbreaking.

I love this author and I love books that incorporate "then and now"!! Great read!

I'm a bit late writing my review for this one, as I listened in October 2024 as a bookclub choice for #BookstaBritsBookClub. I always love a time slip novel and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one. We flip between the 1960s and 2003, with Jennifer a young married woman in the 60s and Ellie, a similar age in 2003.

This was such a beautifully written, nostalgic book and is very poignant when we think that this generation probably won't be writing letters and so there won't be any letters to discover. Texts and emails don't quite have the same mystery!

I loved Ellie's investigative streak as she sought to discover the history behind Jennifer's letters and her husband and lover and how Jennifer's story is similar to her own.

The Last Letter From Your Lover is a beautifully written book about missed chances and relationship consequences and I'm thankful it was one of our bookclub choices last year.

It took me some time to get in to this book. This is the third book I have read by this author and by far this is my least favorite. I could never condone an extramarital affair. I wish the story line would have omitted that part which would then have made the story line fall apart. So who knows.

I have tried multiple times but I can not get through this book! It is so boring! I am a huge fan of JoJo Moyes so I keep trying thinking it’s just me! I wanted this to be better, as I really enjoyed the Netflix film.

This was a welcome change from the last string of books I read. I was captivated by a love so magnanimous. I’ve always been fond of Jojo Moyes’ storytelling. This was just what I needed during these challenging times.

Jojo Moyes must be a sadist but, if she is, I'm a masochist because I kept reading and loved it. There are things that could be improved and it did feel a bit long at times but overall it was lovely
